All aboard the Polar Express! Enjoy a ride on the Polar Express where we do our best to bring the magic of the book and the movie to life in an action-packed event!
- Dress up in your best Pajamas and grab a seat on one of our "trains" (really, they're school busses but the kids love them anyway).
- Have your ticket punched by our costumed conductors – just like in the movie!
- Sing carols as you make your way to our first stop – The Red Hut where you will be entertained by tumbling acrobats and enjoy a luscious cup of hot chocolate served up by Red Hut Soda Fountain’s jaunty crew!
- From there the "trains" continue on to the MontBleu where you are sure to like the refreshments, the reading of the Polar Express, and the songs of the Belles of Christmas choir.
- A special appearance and the first gift of Christmas caps off the evening as you make your way back to your "trains" for the ride back to your stations.

There will be two departure times. The choice is yours, both departures offer the same magical experience:
Departure One: 4p.m.
Departure Two: 6p.m.
Station Locations: Choose from Kahle Community Center, Stateline, NV or South Lake Tahoe Recreation Center, South Lake Tahoe, CA. Stations open 30 minutes before departure time.
"Trains" leave their stations promptly to make their way to the North Pole. Please be on time and don’t forget to wear your pajamas! Polar Express merchandise will be available for sale at the stations and at Montbleu.
Please note that Mrs. Claus' Gift Shop, the craft area/letters to Santa, Santa photos, the Teddy Bear Hospital and all the other Festival activities will be closed for this very special event. To enjoy all that the Festival has to offer please plan to join us during Public Viewing or one of our other magical events!
